the necessary elements to be a prize-winner! Just to re-cap so that you too

RV Lifestyle - all of these photos show family members, friends, out
enjoying the RV Lifestyle.
Format - First Prize winning shots are, ideally, vertical rather than
horizontal format.
Resolution - A common element of all three of the shots below is that they
were very high resolution (file sizes were 1MB plus). This was achieved by
setting cameras to "very fine" quality.
Resolution – This is a critical element in a first prize winner.
- The first step in creating a high-resolution photo is to set your camera to “super fine” resolution. You may need to adjust your camera’s setting to accomplish this.
- The second step, once you’ve taken a high resolution shot, is loading that photo onto your computer. Some programs may try to reduce the size/resolution of the photo for you – do not let it! Keep the original size.
- The third and final step is submission. If you are asked, when e-mailing your photo(s), “Make picture smaller?”, the answer is no. “Keep original size.” - is the right choice.
How do you know whether your shot is high resolution? Check the file size. This appears in brackets after the photo name/attachment in the e-mail. Your photo should be at least (1MB). So, when you send your photo(s), look at the attachment line. If it looks something like this – DSC03661.jpg (2MB) – great! You may be qualifying for a First Prize.
